Day 02: London

Enjoy London with a city Hop-On Hop-Off tour conducted on the original London double-decker bus; this London tour offers two sightseeing routes – one that cover all the main sights in Central London with live commentary and another route that covers all the museums. Free walks and a scenic cruise on the River Thames are included in both tours. The major sights of the first route include Change of Guards at Buckingham Palace, the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, Downing Street, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Trafalgar Square and Piccadilly Circus. In the evening, take yourself up to Leicester Square in the heart of London, where there’s plenty to see and do – including cinemas, restaurants, clubs and everything else that makes London such a vibrant city. Overnight stay at London.

Day 03: London

Post breakfast, start on a day’s excursion to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Bath – England’s most beautiful Georgian city. This tour includes entrance to Windsor Castle, the home of the Royal Family for 900 years, and the world’s largest and longest-occupied castle; worth special mention are its lavishly decorated 19th century State Apartments, the 15th century St. George’s Chapel, and its fortified walls, which dominate the delightful town that has grown up around it over the centuries. Travelling further down the rolling green Wiltshire landscape, we arrive at Stonehenge, the greatest national icon of Britain.

A collection of pre-historic stones dragged and set across in a semi-circle on a lonely plain dotted with prehistoric mounds and carvings near Salisbury, Stonehenge continues to enthral the imagination and captivate the heart of every visitor. Next, it is on to the City of Bath, an ancient city famous for its elegant Georgian architecture, the best preserved Roman spas and pump rooms, which are striking neo-classical salons where hot Spa water is drawn for drinking. Overnight stay at London.

Day 04: London

Today, we will visit Oxford for a private tour of Christ Church College and see locations from the Harry Potter films including the Hogwarts Dining Hall. We then drive through one of the most scenic areas of England, Cotswold, passing through charming villages with thatched cottages, tea shops and ancient inns to Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of the famous playwright William Shakespeare; here, we visit Shakespeare’s Tudor-era home, with its typical parlour, bedrooms, kitchen and buttery. Finally, we visit the Medieval Warwick Castle, where we take you back 1,000 years in history to a time of bloody battles, extravagant banquets and royal ceremony. See waxwork displays from Madame Tussauds; step back in time to 1471, to the time when the Earl of Warwick prepared the royal household for the Battle of Barnet; and explore the gruesome dungeons where prisoners were tortured. Overnight stay at London.
